Struggling with my first cut

Been having issues with connectivity, but I think I mostly solved them by turning connection monitoring off and going into AP mode. I was having some messages about a corrupted maslow.yaml so I updated to most recent firmware. Went through the process to retract, extend, place anchors, calibrate, home, and then load and hit play. Fluid NC began tracking the movement of the sled, but the sled wasn’t moving in reality. Gave me this read out:

Turned it off and on again. Thought it would just rehome since the firmware update, but it didn’t. Went through the unanchor, retract, extend, reanchor, apply tension process. Homed successfully. Went to move the home to the origin of the gcode I wanted to cut. And one of the belts snapped.

Ordering another belt now, but not looking forward to the process of disassembling and replacing the belt if all I get for my troubles are more problems running a file. What am I messing up here?

Hmmmm I’m sorry that happened! It sounds to me like you did everything right.

The 15mm position error is a sign that something is wrong, but it is hard to say exactly what. Basically that is telling us that something is preventing the machine from getting to the position that it wants to be in.

Do you by any chance have a copy of the log file?
