Very excited.
I used default MakerCAM settings which was of course extreme overkill for foam, but I had to start somewhere.

Great work!
Not only is it your first cut, I think that this is the first cut done by anyone using MakerCAM in years since it’s been offline…excellent!
It appeared at the perfect time. I had started looking at Estlcam, but the learning curve is a bit steeper than MakerCam. I was able to going in MakerCam very quickly.
Congratulations on your first cut!
I was psyched when I first started milling the XPS material at how many uses it has–like for silicon molds. Need a custom gasget? just vasoline the slot and pour liquid silicon in and snap off your gasget after it sets. good stuff!
What was the trick to getting things working?
