I had been dreaming of a coffee table like this for a while. Finally cut one with some mid-grade baltic birch (hard to find these days!) and managed to show of some gratuitously great end-grain.

Would you mind sharing some pics of the under-side for my “inspiration” (blatant theft)?
I am planning to do one of these with some curvy surface and a shelf under (connected to the legs).
How thick is the tabletop? It looks like it’s two pieces of plywood stuck together.
