Tried to fix z stop and had to tell it to go below what it thought was bottom z home and it freaked out and wants me to reset belts why?

i cant get it to move up or down even after restart, im gonna have to keep it propped up i guess and retract and re extend the belts and see if that fixes it

The last two jogs have lowered the Z axis as far as it will go, but the Maslow maths thinks it is at -10.9. Therefore the belts will not be accurately reflecting the real world. If you bottom out you have to reset the Zm to zero (setup, config., Set Z axis) before trying to move.
So now its lost, the only alternative is a retract, extend sequence, but before that reset the Z axis to Zero.
Maslow is not ready to move.

i may have been, i caught myself a little later after i fixed it in inches instead of mm when i was trying to lower it again so it is definitely possible and quite likely, i also just ended up letting it run the whole distance down it wanted to until it stopped so it could then be told a new z stop, i was quite tired when i was trying to mess with it so i imagine i just wasn’t paying attention to the right stuff most likely

Have you got control of it now? It should not matter, but I have noticed an occasional overrun when in inches mode.

more or less, i will download those updates you sent and try again and see if it tries to top out again in my process of cutting some more stuff out
