Hey everyone. I’ve had the rigid router r22002 I believe (the one Bar recommends) and was noticing issues with the z axis more and more. I had plans of cutting out the meticulous z axis and abandoning the the stock wormgear and z axis all together.
For a fix until I could get the rails I tried the “cheap z axis fix” which worked wonders for half a day but my z axis lever was already to stripped out to last.
I tracked down to parts but it will take 5-6 weeks to ship. I know it’s odd to but would anyone be willing/able to cut the meticulous z axis parts and ship them to me? I’m in Indiana. I would pay the cost. Just trying to get back up sooner rather than later… other ideas welcome.
