Webcontrol just can't connect

I swear this used to work, but something happened and I’ve been down the rabbit hole of upgrades and configurations but nothing seems to be working.

When I run webcontrol it gives the output in the screenshot and I cannot get to it by hitting my-pi-ip.local:5000

Any more thoughts I can try?

I had connection issues so I’m now using the pi in a headless state, by ssh through my Mac.

I’m running webcontrol manually by cd webcontrol

./webcontrol

If anyone is following this, I followed the notes from this post - Cant update to Holey Firmware, and cant get the software to run outside of Docker by @girrrrrrr2 and it seems to be running okay.

I think the version of Webcontrol I was using must have had an issue - updating to webcontrol-0.95-pre-release-beta-rpi-singlefolder.tar.gz seems to have fixed it.

The only issue now is that it gave me an error on the version of firmware I was running -
Warning, you are running a stock firmware that is newer than what is included in WebControl. This version may not work correctly with this version of WebControl.

WebControl:1.26, Controller:1.28

I assume this means I should be running holey with this version of webcontrol?

webcontrol includes firmware with it, both holey and normal IIRC. I think we had
pretty much found that holey was more accurate (the other calibration corrected
for errors in once place, but didn’t try to address them in other places)
