Worth noting that this is also true for GroundControl if your computer running GroundControl is connected to the internet and becomes compromised through a virus, malware or an OS exploit. With either GroundControl or WebControl, I wouldn’t recommend leaving your Maslow plugged in and unattended, especially if you have a way to power up/down the spindle automatically.
