Where are the magnets?

I started assembling my M4 tonight- where are the magnets? I can’t find them anywhere in the box?

They should be in the hardware bag with the blue thread locker.

It should look like this:

I don’t have that bag in my kit- no thread locker, no magnets.

The location of the magnets has moved since this thread was posted (but good searching!). They should now be stuck to the tox driver.

Hi there, I’m starting the assembly of a 4,1 but me neither can find the magnets. Not stuck with the screwdriver neither with the gears. I might have lost them by myself too, because I moved all the stuff from cardboard box to a plastic box earlier this summer, I don’t know really.

It’s clear I’m stuck building the machine until the magnets are available. Is there a certain spec to them so I could try to find equal magnets locally (Finland). Maybe something like 5x2mm N52 or maybe not?

I know they are a different type of magnet where the polarity splits them in half vertical instead of usual horizontal. I cannot recall where they were attached in the kit.

Thanks for the info, I just put an order in for the replacement magnets. They are cheap, it’s just the delivery costs are 10x what the magnets are :slightly_frowning_face: . And that’s allright too, but I wouldn’t want to wait for the delivery. My frame was a tedious task, but now it’s almost ready.

They should come stuck to your torx driver. I’ll refund your order so you don’t need to pay for them.
