Where, When , and How to purchase a Maslow Ring System?

Where, when and how to purchase a Ring System?
And now the most important question…do I need one?

You do need some triangulation kit. But this only matters if you have one of the
original kickstarter kits that has the chains attaching to the big L brackets.

It’s not currently possible to buy the ring kit, but there are two other linkage
kits that achieve similiar results currently available. see the pinned topic at
the top of the swap meet topic.

Thank you David, yes, I’m one of the original kickstarter beta testers (founder). I got frustrated with mine, Stackover flows errors, slack in the chains when the sled is too far left or right, files too big…was never sure if it was user error or software related or old laptop…then start traveling for work…stopped playing with it. I haven’t touched it in a couple years. Then purchased a 3D laser, started playing with that toy. I need to get my head back into my Maslow, amazing concept, I could just never get all the bugs worked out of mine.

I’m hoping a triangulation kits will help with the slack in the chain issues when the sled is far left or right. I’ll research the swap meet topic. Most likely need to rebuild or make a new sled

Thanks for the advice.

The chains will still get slack as we get to the bottom corners, but we are
adjusting the math to try and take this into account.

But the math is MUCH simpler with triangulation than with the L brackets, so
everyone should switch over (@bar, you should send out a notification to the
original kickstarter backers informing them of the improvements we have made,
the triangulation kits and the top beam frame design being the major changes
that improve the performance)
