Woven seat lounge chair

I’ve been helping a friend to make a lounge chair. It will have a woven seat an back when it is finished (the cord will pass through the slots in the sides and over the top of the edges). I’ll post pictures when it is finished and put the files in the community garden.

The dogbone cutouts for the beams to go into aren’t visible in the real thing because there are two layers tacked to give it more strength.

you may want to put a tab in the slots every few inches to tie the two sides
together, otherwise all the person’s weight is pulling on the narrow side of the
slot.

you should be able to weave around a narrow tab fairly easily
