Z-Axis does not work maslow 4

Hello!
Having problems with my Maslow 4.
Z motors don’t want to move when I run them. Can’t get any error code.
When I try to change them the fan revs up and there is a little noise but no movement at all on the z axis motors.
They are easy to move when the power is off.
Anyone else experienced this?

How are you running the z-axis motors? Is it using the up and down buttons or when running gcode?

What do you see here on your machine?

how are you trying to move them? the most common cause for this is that your
feed rate is set really slow, or you think you are set to inches (and giving
small movements) but the machine is in mm mode.

I press alarm and then try to raise and lower. everything else works as it should but not the z motors.

Interesting. Do you hear any sound or do they become hard to rotate by hand while moving?

It could be an issue with your maslow.yaml file. That file tells the machine how to connect to the z-axis motors.

Yes I hear a noise and it is hard to spin by hand. the sound disappears if the plug for the motors is not in.

Do you hear that sound all the time that the machine is turned on or just when the z-axis is told to move?

Have you tried replacing the Maslow.yaml file?

I tried updating Maslow.yaml. After the third attempt, it worked as it should. Thanks for the help!
