A 16 year old desperately wanting a car?
No, it is more like a grandpa making awesome stuff for his grandchildren to play on when they visit.
If it was big enough for a 16 year old, I would put a motor in it and drive it myself
Someday I may design & build an adult sized version, but have too many other projects to work on for that now.
Sorry, I was too terse (yes, surprising for the moose).
With the high price of shop robovacs perhaps a 16 year old needing money to buy, or insure, a car would be a good shop cleaning alternative.
OT: I hired a couple of 16yo last fall to help remove an unexpected giant pile of rocks discovered under my broken up and removed old concrete floor during the never-ending shop building project. 420 cubic feet, 2400 gallons, 9000 liters, or (as performed) 750 partly filled drywall buckets, not counting the concrete. They wanted, and earned, a sawbuck ($10usd) an hour each.
Wow! Really impressive work here and inspiring. Thanks for sharing your project and the finished product. I bet the grandkids love visiting.
