3D Maslow - Three Chain

Has anyone ever heard of any attempts to make a maslow-like-machine, but in 3D? Basically having 3 support chains instead of 2 and being able to cut in true 3-axis fashion, as opposed to 2 1/2 axis machining?

But for cutting things you are better off with a gantry machine probably. Gantry machines are pretty good at what they do, just more expensive

Looks like hangpriner only does 3dprinting not routing?

That is correct, but you can look at what they’ve done and the problems they
have had with a lightweight 3d printer print head and see how much more
difficult it would be to put a router (and it’s milling forces) on such a
mechanism.

Understood. Maybe a traditional 3 Axis gantry router would be better. I just thought it would be a inexpensive solution to the problem.
