Yep - used the cable and followed the procedure… I assumed that the config file was replaced as part of the process but ended up trying to upload an additional Maslow.yaml file on top… However, in trying to do so in FluidNC was running into the following bug….

And ended up with Maslow.yaml.yaml or other strange file names like OK or cancel…
It’s been a challenge but have been able to regain control of the machine after several flashes, learned more about fluidnc, and even got some practice with fluidterm and $ commands 
during the process.
Still not convinced it’s 100% clean so I’ll likely be performing another flash and full install.
