I have updated to latest GC and firmware. Adjusted screw on latch. I still have this horizontal line that appears across the top of letters.
I am going try an entirely different file and shape and see.
can you post the g-code file so we can check if it’s something there?
if it’s repeatable and always in the same place, it’s far more likely to be in
the file than a bug in the machine.

Here it is but as I just said in another post my cnc is unusable now till I found out what happened and fix my config.
The line is in the gcode- but not in the toolpaths in easel. Makes me wonder what happens between the export of gcode and the tool pathways. EITHER WAY the line was not a maslow problem.
