Arduino NO PORT LISTED

Hi there I am new to Maslow just built my frame and started setting up the rest. I tried to calibrate the motors but there was no movement at all, after re-installing all the Arduino software and Ground control a few times with no results this morning after the first attempt I got the message in Arduino
"void setup () {
// put your setup code here, to run once:
{
void loop () {
// put your main code here, to run repeatedly:

The port is also not showing up although it is there if I look inDevices and Printers.
I am using windows 7.

Please help.

reboot - go to device manager under ports - com & lpt - What is the comport there?

Thank you

Are you using the keystudio Arduino mega?

A lot of times when you see the port issues, you have a clone board that uses a different USB control chip. In the case that is your situation, you will need to hit the following link to download the drivers for your board, then it will work with the Arduino IDE.

i am having the same problem. I got a new computer and it’s no longer finding the arduino port. under ports it’s listed as unknown device.

You might miss the right answer, if you post the same thing around the forum.
