So, in the process of setting up my Maslow on my new frame… retract the belts, extend the belts (oops, not enough, change the extend distance), retract the belts, extend the belts… FINALLY got it up and mounted, figured out it needed to be “vertical” and got it mounted around the right way (power cords go down).
Then I noticed the top belt got drug into a gear or something and munged up a little about 3’ from the end, started calibration and the Maslow promptly snapped the munged up belt, then snapped the anchors out of the 3d printed (ABS) anchor points.
So, I’ll be ordering some new belts asap, just to have a spare or two laying around… in the meanwhile, is one belt being 3ft shorter going to be a problem?
