I’ve tried restarting the calibration process 6 times now. I’ve retracted & extended the belts around 10 times now. The process keeps restarting the fitness check. I’ve allowed it to run for over 40 min.
I’m on v1.0.3.
I’m using concrete anchors & my frame is 4300 x 3300mm
I’ve increased the retraction & calibration force to 1500.
And on the last belt retraction, now one belt is stuck 6" out & won’t retract all the way.
If I try release tension nothing happens, so now I can’t extend it or retract it.
Sounds like you have a knot in one belt. If you try calibrate on a horizontal surface, you have to manually pull the slack out of the belts as it goes , up until the first calibration, otherwise the belts get tangled on the spool. You might have to pull that arm apart to get the knot out
The fitness check’s end result is the calibration.
Once it is done you can download a copy of the malsow.ytaml file, and the Maslow_* values in that file will be the dimensions of your frame as determined by calibration, relative to the bottom left corner.
Well good news & bad news.
I was finally able to get it to finish the calibration process, by setting the force to 1500 and the grid to 3x3 and 300x300.
I was then trying to get my plywood centered around the home point. So I sent Maslow to the edge of the plywood with 1/2 the sled overhanging. When I told it to go home, I think the sled got stuck and one of the belts snapped. ;-(
