Hi everyone, I have been learning how to use Fusion360 to make projects and so far it’s going well. The only problem I have is that the “traverse” height (when moving from process to process) is set by default to 0.6in, and I can’t find anywhere to change it. It’s unnecessarily tall and it’s adding time with z-axis movements. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Replying because I can’t figure out how to edit the original post. I figured out the bug/feature. It’s under the “Heights” tab in the Fusion360 CAM dialog, by default the Retract Height is set to 0.4" above the Clearance Height, which is 0.2" resulting in a full retraction of 0.6". It got dangerous at one point because the z-axis tried to move farther than it could and it nearly broke my machine.
