Wanting to cut eva foam decking like seadek etc… which of the cncs should i get its mostly just routing out logos and cutting out the templates. Will the original work for this or should I get the m2? Thanks for any info!!
This ius a super interesting idea. I wonder you are going to go from physical templates on the boat to cnc designs.

The best way for DIYers to cut EVA foam is with a sharp knife. Commercially, thick mats are cut with custom dies, since they require a lot of downward force. A regular “vinyl cutter” would not be up to the task, but maybe this is the perfect opportunity for someone to build a heavy duty pivoting blade attachment for Maslow.
If you want to cut foam like SeaDek and make logos or shapes for marine decking, the Original can do the job. It’s good for small projects and beginners. If you want to do bigger jobs or use it a lot, the M2 is better because it’s stronger and faster. It depends on how much and how big you plan to cut.

The M4.1 should be better than either the original or the M2
