Firmware Stuck at .71

I don’t seem to be able to upgrade my firmware past .71. When trying to upgrade to .73, the system behaves like it is upgrading, restarts but when I press “Test” it still shows as .71

I’ve tried all combinations I can think of of uploading files but not seeing a difference.

I believe @bar said something about forgetting to update that line of code in the most recent firmware.
So you have 0.73 I guess, it just shows 0.71

Hello to all community members,

I could appreciate some assistance as I’m having trouble updating the firmware on my Maslow CNC. My system is currently on firmware version.71. I’ve made multiple attempts to update to version.73, but I keep getting trapped in a loop where the upgrade appears to be finished, the system restarts, but the firmware version is still displayed as.71 when I check it by hitting “Test.”

The steps I took are as follows:

  • Downloaded the official.73 firmware from there.
  • I plugged in my Maslow CNC to my PC and started the firmware update.
  • Saw the system operate as though it were updating, with the progress indicators following the predetermined path.
  • Observed the system restart on its own following the alleged upgrade.

I have verified the following twice:

  • The firmware file was downloaded appropriately and is uncorrupted.
  • My PC and the CNC maintain a steady connection during the operation.
  • I’ve done exactly as instructed in the upgrading instructions.

This is 100% my fault. I forgot to bump the version number last week. Today’s update will fix it.

I’m really sorry for the trouble :pensive:
