Recently finished Maslow4 build (bought kit 1 year ago). I downloaded files from git hub and connected to the machine via wifi. Fluidnc interface came up and I clicked on firmware update tab. Selected firmware.bin (latest effective yesterday). After several minutes (98%) I got an error code that the upgrade failed due to lack of memory. Tried again several times and got the same result. I don’t know how to free up memory on the controller. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
If you are on a firmware under 1.0. You need this one time USB upgrade process to get formatted into 1.0
Hope that helps.

I was able to use the Allen wrench and carefully hold down the button thru the fan and cover but it was a little tricky.
Also be sure your USB c cable can do data. Many are power only for charging devices.

Thanks Dano, I found a USB cable but not sure it transmits data. I’m using Linux and when I run the script for full install on version 1.0, I get an error that it can’t start the .fluidnc-venv/bin ? That’s the Python directory. I’ll review the Python documentation and try some other stuff. If all else fails maybe I can get the Windows bat running under Wine.
Sorry Steve, can’t help you there. I did my upgrade with a Windows PC.

Its OK. Somewhere I have an old windows 10 Box. I used it a few years ago to run my Makermade. Had the same problem then and hoped it would be different this time. Thank you again Dano. I appreciate all the help.
