When i go to load my project its loading all the way to the right off the work piece. Did my machine lose calibration?
No, you’re still good. The position of the piece is determined when you go through the step of creating the gcode. If you used MakerCam, when it starts up you can’t see the 0,0 point on the screen, and the SVG gets loaded off to the right of 0,0. Look on the screen for the zoom ‘-’ button
and give that a click to see where the axes cross. That crossing point will be at the center of your workarea. You can select your lines and drag them around, I like to try to center them over the crossing point. Then gon on with the CAM profile creation, etc.
Thank you very much scrumdybum … it worked!
Great! I can’t take credit though, ive read close to every post and just happened to remember seeing that question.
