Help/Introduction

Hi @Arykk,
Looking at your setup for the chain slack, I have to say it’s elegant, however I am concerned about the amount twist you are putting on your chain as it exits the sprocket. In general, you will want your chains to stay in the same plane at all times, and that plane to be the same as the plane of the sprocket. Twisting the chains will encourage chain skipping as well as potentially damaging the chain links. I can see from the previous picture that there is some mitigation of the twist by routing it down your main beam, but I still think that this may lead to problems for you. One solution that would still allow you to keep your weights behind the work area is to switch to a bottom feed chain setup and route the slack chain horizontally.
