I think I can make some more room or at the very least slide the bottom out more at the loss of some floor space.

I will also build a stand so it’s not just leaning against the wall.

Why don’t you hinge the bottom portion of your table, then you can stand it vertical when not in use.

Good idea. I may quickly work on an alternative design. Ideally something that takes advantage of the M4.
