Hi ,
I have been assembling the Maslow 4.1, and it is mostly going well; however, based on the orientation in the assembly guide for the mainboard mounting atop the router. When anchoring the mainboard/cover and fan assembly, the yellow socket on the mainboard fouls.
What do I do in this situation? Given that the power cord exiting the router is fairly solid, I expect vibration over time if I were to use this plug. Would that eventually stress the connector, the cord, or both?
Different folks have handled it in different ways, but the most common is just to bend the router power cord over and attach it to the clamp here with a ziptie.
I have not had this exact problem but you don’t have to have the computer mounted on the router. Easy fix might be to pull the mounting clips off the router. The routerbgone side project has this 3d printed mount that lifts the computer away from the router on the posts. It might work.
If you are feeling adventurous, an have a 3D printer you can open your router, disconnect the power cable, remove the rubber strain relief on the cable and fit a 3D printed 90 replacement for the strain relief before refitting the cable and reassembling the router.
