M2 calibration missing setting to set sled size

Hey Nolan,

Give this a try:

Do a search on your computer for your “.makerverse” file. It should be in your user folder. Edit that file in Notepad (or other simple text editor).

The very first line of that file should start with { “state”; and then a bunch of different configuration settings. Right after the “state”; insert this: { “insecureDangerousGuestAccess”: true,

Save the file and make sure that it doesn’t try to add any extension (like .txt), and then try again to load Makerverse. It will give you a message about a potentially dangerous login, blah, blah. Continue through and see if it loads.

From what I’m tracking the only reason you want to change the sled size is because of the edge calibration where you measure the distance from the edge to the sled edge? If that’s true you should be able to do that then add or subtract the different in the sled radius and input that number. Does that sound right? Other wise the sled size isn’t necessary to be known.

referencing the edge of the sled also occurs during the chain set up

So two significant areas within calibration

It’s important enough to me where it’s causing an unnecessary level of frustration and would prefer to have it sorted then as yet another workaround for something stupid simple.

That’s just how I feel about it

I’m sure others could move on from it but I am stuck on it
