FWIW, Kiri:Moto is open source, provided as service for free on grid.space, and runs entirely in browser with no cloud service dependencies. Your data stays local/private to your browser. It’s been around for years but is still current and gets updates weekly.
I’m looking to add a default Maslow machine definition with all the right GCode templating, if anyone is willing to help out with testing.
MetalMaslow is a reseller for ESTLCam; I bought it from his site and got the license… soo much nicer than MakerCam; the main feature I use is the “lead-in” part – if you place the lead-in at the top center, you might not even need tabs anymore…
The free version works on linux with Wine or Play on Linux. Still I went for FreeCad knowing that it is buggy. Just is free and give me more options. It all depends on what you need it for. Kind regards, Gero
Easel has a lot of “oops, now you have to pay for it” bits (the big one for me was choosing my own bits – I’m doing bigger things, so I’m using 1/4" spiral upcuts and not 1/8" bits).
yes, you right!
I use 6mm and 8mm spiral 3 flute upcuts.
The thing that its difficult now for me its calibrating z axis because mounted my Maslow with a Bosh POF 1200 router.
