MakerCam Not Loading correctly

FWIW, Kiri:Moto is open source, provided as service for free on grid.space, and runs entirely in browser with no cloud service dependencies. Your data stays local/private to your browser. It’s been around for years but is still current and gets updates weekly.

I’m looking to add a default Maslow machine definition with all the right GCode templating, if anyone is willing to help out with testing.

I downloaded all web files to folder and open the index.html in browser (for me works better in Crhome) without size limit errors. (linux).

mkdir MakerCam
cd MakerCam
wget -r -l www.makercam.com

MetalMaslow is a reseller for ESTLCam; I bought it from his site and got the license… soo much nicer than MakerCam; the main feature I use is the “lead-in” part – if you place the lead-in at the top center, you might not even need tabs anymore…

The price its good but only for windowsers…

The free version works on linux with Wine or Play on Linux. Still I went for FreeCad knowing that it is buggy. Just is free and give me more options. It all depends on what you need it for. Kind regards, Gero

You saw this? https://easel.inventables.com

Easel has a lot of “oops, now you have to pay for it” bits (the big one for me was choosing my own bits – I’m doing bigger things, so I’m using 1/4" spiral upcuts and not 1/8" bits).

yes, you right!
I use 6mm and 8mm spiral 3 flute upcuts.
The thing that its difficult now for me its calibrating z axis because mounted my Maslow with a Bosh POF 1200 router.

Ditch MakerCam. It is dead. Flash is dead.

If you want features in paid software, then pay for it.

If you want to use Open Source, do it. You can use it for free, with no obligations. But if you want to contribute back there are many ways to do so.
