Hi everyone. I just heard about Maslow CNC today and I’m very excited to learn more about this product. I saw online that it is recommended that the Maslow4 use the Dewalt Dw611 router. I currently have the Makita XTR01Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Compact Router. Will this work with the M4 kit? Thanks for your help.

The key issue is the diameter of the router’s body.
The limit is 69mm, which is what the Dewalt is.
If the Makita is less you can try various solutions to shim it out to the required width.
Another option is what I did, which is to get a small spindle and use that instead. Yes it’s more money and a bit more setting up, but a lot quieter, a lot better speed control, and better cutting, from my experience so far. And you get to keep using your router for other things.
