Is the 4.1 THE most frustrating tool known to man?? I’ve had mine for getting on for a year now, and when I want to frustrate myself to the enth degree, I have another go at calibrating the 4.1…… following all the advice, I’ve just updated to the latest firmware and replaced the index and yaml files from the github latest bins…. All went well!
The system restarted…. And I got the ‘find anchor points’ UI on the setup page, so I knew I had the latest version (1.13 ish, I think) …… I retraced all, extended all …. All good so far. I attempted to lower the Z axis, but no movement, even though the onscreen DRO showed movement….. but never mind, I thought….
I connected the extended belts to the anchor points and clicked the new ‘find anchor points button’, the belts duty tensioned….. then……. Nothing!! - log simply says MaslowKinematics are unavailable (or can’t be found) ……. I tried the reboot, retraced all and extend all several times with the same result, so what’s going on there then??? …… I’ve given up again for this evening…. But hope just one day I might actually get it to calibrate and cut (a man can dream, can’t he?) …..Help, please
