I recently saw the video of Bar going through different routers that he thought would work best and some he didnt think would work at all. This makita was one he did not think would work. Did something change on this? Or has there been a design change that takes this into consideration?

The video was related to how you could mount the Z-motor directly to the router. Not possible with the 2 routers mentioned here.
This kit offers a option where the z move is done by a separate mechanism that allows you to mount a dremel or anything else if you wish.

First, some questions.

I already have a two Makita trim routers, I don’t want to buy another. Will you make it optional? Have you though of how to integrate a larger 1/2 inch/13mm router?
Have you investigated shipping costs for various places outside US/Europe (Australia/NZ/Singapore/Hong Kong)?
I have five 25A 24V psu’s and I don’t want to buy another - again, make the psu optional?

International shipping will be $70-$100
Kit will be available without router.
I’m sorry the 12v power supply is not optional: it is not expensive anyways so removing it would not lower the price of the kit that much

I would be interested in this kit. I just found out about Maslow and would really like to start using one, but of course no kits are available

How about a sled only option? I could see some user, including maybe me, having a real interest in this.

What will the price of the kit be without router?

Right now we’re just gonna focus on selling the kits. We want to keep it simple and having to customize every order would get complicated. If things work out we might offer more customization in the future. $75 less without router

I’ll buy it for sure, count me!

Regards, Tim

I would be interested.

Hi.
Can I use this rigid router (aeg mf 1400 in Europe) with this kit? If yes count me in.

It looks like a 220 V version of the usa one

if all the dimensions are the same it should work
