Metalmaslow shipping time?

no I dont’ remember what happened, but I went back to my emails and saw that I apologized profusedly about not shipping the 8 bolts worth about $3 you said you got at lowes and the relay controller, which is nice to have, but certainly the machine can be run without it and you did eventually get it.

Now let me ask you a serious question, how in heck can you be so pissed off about this 7 months latter that you feel the need to bash me publicly and write a 3 paragraph rant about something so small? seriously what the hell has this community turned into? It is certainly not the understanding kickstarter group of several years back.

I rarely ever see posts from you on here
[/quote] I have posted 787 times on this forum. not that I care, but you seem to.

If you are going to call it a business then treat it as such, and have some respect for the people supporting you.
If it’s not a business, then make it clear that you are a flake, and you’ll get to it when you get to it.
Once again, communication is everything. Which you only seem to care about when it’s on a public forum.

haven’t made a single penny off you, or the 100 people that got the laser cut base plate for $25 or the 100 people that got the top metal cross bars I used to offer.

All of that goodness has to go away because of people like you . I can’t afford to do nice things because people like you are so petty.

Since you still don’t understand the simple concept of respecting your customers here’s our email chain for all to see.
Maybe I’m the prick here, but I was being plenty respectful up to the point of being ignored for 2 weeks.

At which point you blamed your incompetence on “people like me” instead of just being up front that it is not worth your time to sell your products.

Some people have customer service skills and enough self pride in your own work.
Then there are people like you.

Either way I was over it in March, and still over it.
But we can keep this up as long as you’d like.
I have a lot more free time than you do.

It’s a $25 item that would cost you $50 to get laser cut, locally. I’ll send you file if so you can do exactly that if you want

you are welcome.

Sorry but price has nothing to do with time.

You list as “in-stock”… but it’s not, no big deal really but just be honest with your customers.

Don’t tell me it should be shipped by Fri (10 days after order)

Then go out of your way to ignore my requests for updates the following 2+weeks

To then reply when I want to cancel it because you can’t have to decency to just be honest on time frame.

I would have had zero issues had you just been up front from the get go and say “I don’t make dick from these, I work 90 hours a week at my regular job, I’ll get to it when I get to it, could take a month or longer.”

Real simple. Be honest with paying customers, it’s not my fault you set pricing to nothing.

Is what it is man. I’m over it.

But maybe learn some customer service.

Reason it takes so long is this is a not for profit item. but too many complaints. I have had people threatening to post bad reviews over a non profit item. sure it’s only 3% of the orders with users like this, but due to that 3% I can no longer offer prices to help people. it’s really too bad. price has been changed.

Cancel this order. Close to a month is ridiculous without communication on time frame.

Hi, is there any chance I can get the tracking number for the package?

Thank you

like i said you are unbelievable petty. I would not wish my worst enemy to have a customer like you. You do the community a diservice trying to take me out over a $25 order that you got a full refund on. Your emails prove how you only think about yourself. You actually believe I went “OUT OF MY WAY TO IGNORE” YOU. I was busy with my life during the pandemic.

and yes I write on my web site that it’s a not for profit item so of course it is not worth my time. it’s a free service! duh! Duh ! DUH! several emails and now severla troll posts. get a life. seriously get a life.

I wish there was a way to screen out people like Joe_85, but there isn’t and they easily have power over online businesses because as mentioned before only a 2% bad feedback rate can shut down a companies ability to take credit card payments. Combine that with a small company with low sales volume and it’s a disaster. So I guess I am forced to raise prices and hire help.

Maybe that is why other companies like makermade have raised thier prices to $1200 for an equivalent kit. The good news is that I’m keeping my kit prices at half that price for as long as I can . Not gonna let hater like Joe_85 bring me down. Only the parts prices will be going up significantly. while I know the community as a whole appreciates I sell kits 50% less than others, it’s a sad fact that difficult customers can force changes.

I have tried to reply to the order email several times for a status update and I just keep getting bounce back “email not found” replies.

I finally get back on here a year or two later now that I finally have a garage, hoping @Metalmaslow got his house in order, but the drama continues.
Hope you get sorted out @insane66, otherwise I’d try for a refund if you can, through your cc if needed. The website says something about family issues, so hoping he gets back on his feet, charges more, and improves the customer service experience substantially.

I saved my photos on Imgur and popped in to see if things have improved. Well, some businesses won’t change. Here are the photos if anyone is interested.

I just want people not to get ripped off with the shoddy product and outright unprofessional service that refuses to correct any mistakes, let alone an apology which he never gave. I don’t care if he didn’t as long as he accepted the return yet makes me send it to one place, refuses it, UPS had to re-route it, and finally, he sends me the refund. I spend over $40+ just to get it back to him, I remember, out of my own pocket. He’s lucky I didn’t take him to court if I was in the same state. Honestly, it’s psychopathic behavior with no remorse. If you want to defend your business, show US THE PROOF.

I wish the admin/mods didn’t think it was an attack on a person, as it’s pretty obvious the owner will not take any constructive criticism. As a business owner myself, it’s appalling to see owners that just don’t care enough about their customers. This is just a hobby-level operation. NOT a business. After all this time, jbrish and others probably know it won’t change…if he’s still running his business.
