Problems calibrating WC (webcontrol)

I got a “.url” attachment and not a “.zip” file. Not sure what happened. can you resend?

I’m using version 0.932 and entered those numbers and it took them fine, with no error. Could you download 0.932 and try it? It’s the latest and there a number of problems with releases in the last few months.

To test, just entered the numbers you measured (don’t need to do a cut to test it) and press calculate and see if it takes them. You still may be a “sled not keeping up error” but that can happen after a significant change in the calibration values. Just press ‘Stop’ and it will clear the error.

You have max feed rate set waaayyy too high. It’s set for 1400 mm/min and 800 mm/min is the practical limit for the maslow. The sled is trying to move as fast as it can but it can’t do so at that feed rate so it throws the error message. I think this explains the “sled not keeping up” issue. Go to Settings->Advanced Settings->Max Feedrate and change it to 800.

Let me know if version 0.932 fixes the error message for triangular calibration. Also, if you decide to stick with webcontrol, then I recommend upgrading the firmware to holey calibration and using the holey calibration method. I think you’ll get better calibration from it.

And I apologize for all issues with the software. I know it must be frustrating.

@madgrizzle, yes it was that as son as i lower the feed rate to 800 the machine worked again. let me keep trying to build stuff and if i find my self in trouble ill let you know

THANKS
