Ridgid Depth Gauge Accurate?

Has anyone had experience with using the recommended Ridgid Depth Gauge?

I’m seeking advice on how to adjust it accurately, or if I should be measuring it manually.

What exactly are you trying to do? What are you trying to measure? What do you define as accurate? Sorry, this just struck me as a little vague.

For example, when cutting my final sled I have to adjust the depth for tabs. But in the end it ended being too deep and tabs weren’t there.

Do you not have a z-axis motor? Are you adjusting depths by hand?
