What’s the current ETA for the post Kickstarter batch of kits?
Sorry for not having talked about that in a while, I’ll make it the topic of next week’s update so we can give you all the details.
We haven’t brought it up because everything has been going smoothly. Most parts have been made at this point and are in route to us (or actually the non-profit we are working with to get all the boxes filled and shipped as quickly as possible) and the time consuming parts like sorting and bagging the hardware are done.
As to be expected manufacturing all the parts took a week or two longer than we were quoted, but we’ve come to expect that so we should still be on track to be sending out kits in boxes around the end of September/beginning of October.
If you are wondering what’s going on, other people are too so thanks for bringing it up! I’ll make sure to get all the gory details to everyone about how many crates of what are where in the update on Wednesday.
