Here is the start of the Charlie Brown Family cutout for Christmas. I use my draw and cut method to create these cutouts. I did use the marker holder version 2 and I accidentally forgot to add the weight of the router. I did all three characters without adding the router weight and it gave excellent results. I’ll upload the finished product later.

Nicely done! So you cut out the profile, then draw in the details and paint? What’s your process with these? They look amazing.
No. All the lines are drawn out by the CNC. I divide it up into two paths that I call draw and cut. The first path is the interior lines/features which is drawn with my marker holder and a sharpie marker. The second path is where the router cuts out the profile. My fkids and I then paint the project. I finish it up by using a lettering paint brush to go over the previously drawn lines to create the borders and sharpen up the imperfections on the edges.
