Things worked fine for me with this firmware and index.html.gz (and modified maslow.yaml with my anchors).
On your next attempt, can you click “test” in setup and try the retract / extend and post a “save serial” messages file? Maybe something will jump out for me or someone watching.

Yep. I’d try unplugging and plugging in the ethernet looking cables on both sides to make sure they are seated and try again, possibly rebooting (power off/on) too after that. If that does not work, I’d have to refer you to the maslow folks…
