what is it?
Cocktail arcade machine, 4 player.
Can you share the Gcode files for this cocktail 4 player cabinet? I have been meaning to do a project like this for a long time! Thank you!
A test sign. Unluckily i had an “USB connection loss” during the cur. Still have to do the “final cut” on “real” wood. Does anyone has tips for how to illuminate large panels? I cant buy reflective foil here in indonesia which is used in most of the “how to” videos i did find.
I’ve bought some Indonesian made light strips, Intech brand, they come in 5m lengths, various colours including bright white and warm white, and they’re very thin which means that you can bend them around behind your panel fairly easily. They’re all 12v, and you can figure out the wattage you need from the power supply but simply measuring what you’ve used.
If you need them weather proof get the IP65 ones.
One of my 1st pieces was this marble gameboard, cut in formica countertop about 3 months ago. Approximately 3.5 hrs with a 60 V-bit. I use Inkscape to create my svg files, and Easel to create the design and layout.
I got this design online. It was designed as a plasma cut for a metal stair railing, and I thought it would look cool as a cutout with a mirror behind it, or a light box. Used 2’x3’ 1/4" paneling, 1/8" straight bit, Easel. Unfortunately, I set it to cut on line and lost a lot of the detail. Have yet to do another cutout in paneling, but am hoping to finish another soon. In meantime, I made a smaller 12"x18" pine engraving (2nd pic) to test the detail with the cut outside the line. Much better results but don’t think I’ll be able to keep the detail using a straight bit on the cutout.
Some stunning pieces in these last half a dozen posts, congratulations all.
