I don’t have one but would the connection be the right type and strong enough to use a maslow off it in the field?

yes, it would work, it’s going to depend where the router is compared to the
maslow, but you should also be able to connect to the maslow in AP mode and use
it (one of the places I use the maslow has the wifi network not strong enough
where the maslow is, so I have to use it in AP mode)

So it could be used say in Ukraine if they have Starlink to cut out brackets for ant drone nets or bunkers, or something like that? this could be the first lightweight capable cnc for military field work, and if it is, that’s the money problem gone for yall, just a thought

The maslow does not require any internet to use, but starlink would work
They would not want kits, they would want finished products that they can just
use.
but field work? where would they get the plywood? wouldn’t it be better to cut
things away from the front lines and take the resulting parts?

i think you’d be surprised with how many kits they would want, they already have teams building drones and munitions in bunkers a cnc shipped out there for them to build in a few hours and troubleshoot within a day or two probably would be handy because in some places they have plywood for the trenches and I’m sure some have boards they could line up together and cut stuff out per board for bracings or slot cuts for machine gun nests, even the ability to cut out cheap holders for drone munitions if they don’t have a 3d printer
the ability to carry it into a secured building is very advantageous if they want to move a production centre up i feel also
No Internet needed. I couldn’t guess what people in Ukraine might need but I have been cutting out of cabinet doors, scrap wood and off bits. Modern houses are full of flat material that could be salvaged. A Maslow a laptop a drill and four good bolts and you are ready to go anywhere you don’t care about the floor. You could even do weird stuff like cut through floors or make silhouettes out of wallboard. Your house is all flat stock.
To preserve marriages and neighbor relations I have not set up in the living room floor and am only using things that end up in the trash. Not taking cabinet doors from less used rooms. The folding frame fits on my car happily.
Just saying your office ceiling tiles would keep me happy for a week. Desks. Nice.
Throw in a pipe cutter and you have a lot of rods to tie things together.
