I have picked up a used Makermade/Maslow kit and am in the process of building the frame. I am wondering about the idea of bench testing the electronics before completing the build. Does this make sense? Thinking I would connect the electronics, update the firmware, and connect one motor to see if it works. I am planning on doing this on a Mac computer if that makes a difference.
Sounds reasonable. There is a motor test feature to allow you to spin the left and right motors by small amounts.
