Play in the worm-side of the clip The goal here is to keep the clip perpendicular to the worm and router body at all times. The easiest way to do so is to make the hole longer and have it fit the worm as closely as possible so the elongated hole can’t tilt on the worm shaft. Has anyone tried this stuff yet? It seems like a few strips of this applied to the bottom of your sled would solve any friction issues.

How to switch out plywood. On the sled, i have drilled this magic hole… [20180323_170941] And on the top of the working area. I have this magic screw… [20180323_170956] They stay above the working area when they mate… [20180323_170016] All of the connections are removable. [20180323_170604] Its actually a lot easier to replace the plywood when all the cables/ hoses are out of the way. [20180323_170744]

The last couple weeks have been dominated by getting this batch of machines put together and it’s become clear that one hardware area that we need to improve is the system which tensions the slack side of the chain.
