ops (I colapsed every item looking for “COM” or “Port” or “LPT”)

here is my device manager, what option would lead me towards the “device manager for port (Com and LPT)”

What Windows operating system version?
Look up internet for your version of windows and how to enable/configure com ports. Link I put in earlier is for Windows 11
when cable plugged in you should have something lik this in device manager.

alright, there is a “show hiddden devices” option

that helped me get to the “Ports (COM & LPT)”

I tried the “update driver” button and aparently the driver is up to date

however it also says the “Currently the hardware device is not connected to the computer (code 45)”
