consider upgrading the z axis motor to the 55, 71, or 100rpm motor we use. the 100rpm works fine with a dedicated z axis, if you are going to modify a router to be lifted with it’s own lead screw the 71rpm or 55rpm provide more torque. Any of them are much better than the 10rpm shipped with the current kits. see discussion here:
