Can anyone provide me a list of the items necessary for Maslow 4.0 to 4.1 upgrade such that I might purchase the separate individual items for my system upgrade?
That is something that we need generally, but right now the best place to find that info is in the kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/maslow4/maslow41-accessible-large-format-cnc-router/
Bar,
Thanks, you for your help. What are your thoughts about the Maslow 4.1 hardware upgrade availability?
Regards,
Jim
It’s still on my todo list, but it’s still after getting kits to all of the Kickstarter backers.
All of the 4.1 upgrade parts are available in the shop right now, it’s just not very organized.
Bar,
Thanks for your communications. I realize that you have many fires that you are focused on. I can simply go to the inventory list of components to purchase the necessary components for the Maslow 4.01 hardware upgrade. Shortly you will see my purchase of the necessary items. Unfortunately I have been plagued too many other distractions.
Keep the good work up!
Regards,
Jim
Bar,
I just sent in an order for the 4.0 to 4.1 update components. It seems the order was accepted but enclosed the wrong email address! I haven’t received any email confirmation yet. Could you look to see if you might have received such an order.

I hope this is the appropriate post to ask this question. I just purchased a NIB Maslow 4 kickstarter kit, but I don’t want to assemble until I gather all 4.1 parts. I grabbed the 4.1 parts list from the Kickstarter page but my question is, have any files been posted (not shop or github) for the parts that can be 3d printed? TIA
They sure have! You can find them all here: Source — Maslow
Thank you! Any tips for infill, speed, supports, etc?
I printed pretty much everything 100% in fill to make it as strong as possible since the parts are really designed to be injection molded
I have a 4.0 that I never assembled. I figure I may as well get the 4.1 parts before putting it together.
The parts seem to have slightly different names on the store than in the kickstarter description. @bar (or someone else who knows) can you verify that this is the correct list?
Really regret not learning about the Kickstarter when it was active!
You can find a full list of what’s new here:
Thanks! I wasn’t sure how many linear rods to get, but it looks like from the assembly directions we need 2?
Yup, but they come as a 2 pack so you just need to have one set in your order

Also, if your old ones are a good length (or you are willing to grind them down
to the right length yourself) there is no need to replace them.
the 4.1 rods are the same, just cut more accurately to length.
