If you want to upgrade your Maslow board for not a lot of money. take a look at our boards we just got in.
Heat sinks that are super strong. A full array of Aux ports.

Is this an upgrade from the board in my kit purchased last spring?
No. Your board was assembled by a robot (SM Surface mount). These boards were soldered by hand (Through hole). The components look a little different, but functionally should be exactly the same.
It is more for people who have a board with 2 chips with 2 heat sinks. Those use a L298 chip which can fail if stressed too much. The original maslow used that board.
