Olá, estou a vender minha Maslow. Ainda está à procura de uma? Se sim, meu tlm é: 929117069.
Abraços.
Basic shelf sized perfectly for waters. It looks way too short in person so I didn’t bother to finish this one.
Bom dia Edvanio Silva.
De facto estou interessado?
Você está em Portugal ou no Brasil??
Abraços,
Nuno
Boa Tarde Nuno,
estou em Portugal, em Barcarena. O telemóvel que coloquei na mensagem é de cá .
Fique à vontade para fazer contacto por telefone, se preferir.
Abraços,
Edvanio
My first thought was that “Waters” was the cats name It’s just the right height for the cat to have headroom. Nice work!
My first thought was that “Waters” was the cats name
@bar I thought the same thing when I first read that!
@RedWagon nice build!
Thought I would share a design I cut on the maslow, three operations, in 3/16 Aluminium plate. Cut speed was 300mm/min, 0.2mm cut depth for all, 1/4" end mill for the pocket, engrave 45 deg bit, and 1/4 Endmill for the cut out.
Wow! That looks fantastic. I think that is the thickest aluminum that I’ve seen cut.
Bom dia Sr Nuno,
peço desculpas, não gravei o seu contacto.
Poderia dar-me um retorno por telefone?
Cumprimentos,
Edvanio
Another sign cut, this time with v-bits. First I’ve ever used them. This one is just shy of 24” diameter, and took 16 hours to cut. But I also let it do the entire cut with the v-bit instead of pocketing with a 2-flute first. (I let it run overnight and didn’t want to do a 1am tool change )
Spectacular. It is especially nice that you didn’t have a problem with that long cut, I have had some long nights staying up with the maslow.
While the work looks spectacular somebody’s got to say it. Never leave a hobby CNC machine running attended overnight, fire and other dangers can result. At least keep it in an unattached building, add smoke detection that alerts remotely, and consider one of the automatic fire extinguishers like this one
I knew someone might mention that. Always safety first! I have my machine in a dedicated shop, detached from the house by a good distance. Building is cement block with not a trace of paint on walls or floors, and nothing flammable anywhere in the vicinity of the machine. With a completely metal frame, if there is a fire it should be contained to workpiece plus waste board only. I am looking to set up a camera monitoring system for it though, possibly with some custom Octoprint style time lapse features as well. But that’s another discussion for another thread
I’m glad you are being safe, I had the same concern in mind when I posted but decided diplomacy was what the doctor ordered.
After having been to too many house fires and aftermaths I guess I’m not as diplomatic
No worries.
One of my employees is retiring and she loves home made handmade items.
and a pic of the finished product.
Cool font choice!
