Beautiful project! Would you share with us what type of mill you used, and what was your depth per pass and feed rate?
I’m also really impressed with your M4 frame- is the top part of the frame made from large diameter bamboo?? Looks very stout!
Hello, thank you very much, of course. I am using the 1/8th Inch Two Flute Router Bit from the maslow store, testing on this project I used a speed of 2500 and a plunge speed of 1500 (I am still learning and I think the max speeds are 2000 and 400 respectively, so I guess this was done at max speed) each pass was done at 3.5mm for the cut and the quality of the cuts was very good, it didn’t burn the wood anywhere and the maslow offset looked very smooth.
For the carving of the letters I used a 60 degree bit router bought on amazon, I lowered the speed to 1500 and the plunge speed to 400, with a depth of 3mm and steps of 1mm each pass.
Yes, bamboo is very strong and abundant in this area, it is used a lot in the construction of houses, bamboo replaces steel for the structure, I live next to the Combeima River and in winter it drags wood, the frame of my maslow is made with everything taken from the river.

What a great job! Are the figures in the background carved or is it a paint effect? It looks great!
Yeah. I want to know what bit size??? please.
It’s acrylic resin dyed with mica powder. I swirl it because it tends to settle and look marblely if I don’t.
Gorgeous as always

I have the same issue how would you go about improving them?
Ah, Edwards! I grew up not far from there…
Curvy Coffee Table
This levitating silhouette is my new coffee table design. Made from the same recycled plastic board I’ve been using for some time.
Steel legs, custom 3D printed boots for their feet.
Integrated power, lighting, there’s even a hidden power point.
And a drawer that comes out at 60° instead of the usual 90°
This was doing the final electrical test before moving onto finishing
This is STUNNING! I love everything about this, especially the shape of the top ![]()
Got my 4.1 running a couple weeks ago and finally getting my first cuts moving. Starting with some basic sign stuff. Here’s an octopus for an obsessed 6 year old. Used KrabzCAM to lay it out and generate the GCode.
Totally awesome! Where did you get the design from?
I think I might have used ChatGPT to create it.
This is the back drop for the play Sylvia.
It was cut out of 7 sheets of 2400x1200 3mm MDF with the Maslow 4.1 using a 1/4" Maslow upbit. The lines are not straight as that was the designers preference (it would have been faster and easier cutting straight lines). Designed in inkscape from photos from the designer. nc code generated from the excellent KrabzCAM with manual modification of the generated code.
WOAH!! This is incredible!
Do you have any in progress pictures?
