I have put my m2 together. y,x motors work as they should, however, the z motor seems to be frozen. when i try to move up/down it does not move, and gets very hot, (too hot to hold in hand) i feel like the motor that was sent out is frozen and bad. anyone have anything similar, and possibly a solution that i am overlooking?
It sounds like maybe you aren’t alone.
If you get in touch with @makermade they should be able to get you a new one.

does anyone know the best way to get in touch with whomever would be the best person/contact to get faulty z motor replaced?
Makermade hasn’t gotten back to you? 
not yet, i just logged into my account and created an inquiry on there just now. hopefully something will come from that, i am anxious to start using the machine, lol
